![]() Lil Boosie' luck turned for the best when he was given the opportunity to join the record label called Trill Entertainment aka Trill Ent which was backed by Pimp-C of UGK. Lil Boosie then released his own debut CD, "Youngest of the Camp", which spread like wildfire through every neighborhood in Baton Rouge and its surrounding communities. He teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc and made his debut on C-Loc's 5th album, "It's a Gamble", which also featured Three Six Mafia, South Park Mexican, and the rest of the Concentration Camp. The talented Lil Boosie soon picked up freestyling and began to get serious about his musical career. When he was 14 years old, Lil Boosie moved in with his grandmother after his father was killed. He is clearly recognized in the rap industry by his high pitched voice. He was given the nickname "Boosie" by his family and was raised on W. Lil Boosie was born Torrence Hatch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 14, 1983. He definitely has five elements that every rapper needs: an unforgettable voice, a bad attitude, an infectious love of trash talk, a popular-hometown reputation and a hot record deal.
